Massa flips on opening lap of German GP - video

Felipe Massa has escaped a scary accident on the opening lap of the German GP.

As the field charged down into turn one at the Hockenheimring, disaster struck. Fourth place Kevin Magussen made wheel-to-wheel contact with third place Felipe Massa. The result was not a simple spin.

The Williams of Massa lifted off the ground and suddenly flipped over. With the wheels pointed towards the sky, the car slid across the pavement before rolling back on all fours. Felipe got out of the car under his own power.

The race resumed a few laps later with Nico Rosberg and Valtteri Bottas leading the way. Massa has sufferd four retirements this year, all due to crashes. This will be the third time in the last four races that he's exited an event prematurely.

This marks the second time this year that a car has rolled over. No action was taken by the stewards following the crash, but do you think that's the right call? Vote now and let your voice be heard!

Who do you think should be blamed for the accident?
