Karun Chandhok and Bruno Senna both impressively finished for the HRT F1 Team in 15th and 16th position in today's Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix. Indian racing sensation Karun Chandhok put on a magnificent display to finish his second race in succession in 15th position.

Starting 22nd, Chandhok put on a very impressive display to finish in a creditable 15th position. Chandhok made a bad start dropping to last but managed to put in a string of personal best laps to move up couple of positions. This included a great move to get past the slowing Lotus of Jarno Trulli as well.

Karun Chandhok commented: "A fantastic result for the team in only our third race. The car felt really good and I was able to keep a consistent pace. Had a very bad start but managed to recover from that put in some fast laps. I pitted on lap 17 and had a tricky moment passing Trulli but am very happy with our performance. We have been working really hard and it is good to get our second finish in a row. Overall been a good weekend for us and am very happy for the team. We have been working really hard and it is good to get our second finish in a row."

Dr. Colin Kolles, Team Principal, commented: "A fantastic day for the team completing our first two-car finish in only our third race, with no pre- season testing. Bruno Senna had a good start while Karun Chandhok had a bad one. But Karun could find a good pace then and both drivers had reliable races. Again we have made a great step forward. We reached our goal with two cars finishing the race. Congratulations to the team who worked again hard to achieve this result. Now we have to work on more developments for the next Grand Prix in China."
