Circuit of The Americas is pleased to announce that Southern rock and country icon, Kid Rock will entertain fans with a post-race concert at the Austin360 Amphitheater on Sunday, Nov. 2 of the 2014 Formula One USGP race weekend. Fans can also take part in the post-race track invasion, where they have the opportunity to walk in the tire treads of their motorsports heroes.

Kid Rock is a multi-instrumentalist and music producer whose album sales have reached over 26 million worldwide since the early 90s. Rock reached commercial success with his 90s hit singles, “Bawitdaba” and “Cowboy.” Rock garnished his first country hit and his most popular song in the U.S. to date with his Sheryl Crow collaboration, “Picture” which charted No. 4 on the Hot 100. Rock’s 2007 album featuring the song “All Summer Long,” charted at No. 1 in eight countries across Europe and Australia, and the music video received more than 48 million views on YouTube.

Rock’s unique musical style range of hip hop and heavy metal to country rock and rap, has led to his following of countless fans worldwide. The release of his album Born Free in 2010 debuted at No. 5, selling 189,000 copies in its first week. His most recent album, Rebel Soul, became certified gold shortly after its release.

“The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is one of the largest sports parties in the country, and was named the Sports Event of the Year for 2013 by the SportsBusiness Journal,” Circuit Chief Marketing Officer Dominic Iacono said. “A live performance by a rock icon like Kid Rock will be the perfect end to what will be a sensational weekend of racing and entertainment at this year’s Grand Prix in Austin.”

This unique race-day experience is available to fans with three-day tickets, which start at $169 per person. The live Kid Rock concert will be transmitted onto high-definition video boards throughout the circuit, so fans will have a chance to see both of these elements. Tickets can be purchased online at www.circuitoftheamericas.com/f1.
