Jaguar Racing drivers mark Webber and Antonio Pizzonia suffered mixed fortunes on the first of a three-day test session in Barcelona today (Tuesday).

Webber continued where he left off last week by setting the quickest time overall but only after team-mate Antonio Pizzonia emerged unscathed from a heavy accident in the morning session.

Running the standard specification R3, Webber completed 67 laps of the Circuit de Catalunya, clocking a best time of 1m18.192s to finish ahead of the Williams of Juan Pablo Montoya and McLaren test driver Alexander Wurz.

Pizzonia, however, failed to set a competitive lap after crashing his R3B into turn two early on. Although the Brazilian emerged from the head-on impact unharmed, he was unable to complete any further laps as the team worked on the car.
