The Jaguar Racing team wrapped up a productive three-day test session at the Circuit de Catalunya on Friday with Mark Webber finally enjoying substantial track time on the circuit.

After two days of waiting patiently in the pits, Webber completed 88 laps of the circuit in posting the second quickest time of the day in the R3 chassis.

"We've got the new engine and gearbox to test so it's crucial for us at this stage," commented Webber. "It's good that we've got some good lead time and like with any new package you're going to have a few issues at the beginning so it's nice to have some time on our side. But that's the main crux of the test for us and also tyre testing."

Although Antonio Pizzonia managed just 11 laps in the revised R3C package, the Brazilian can be satisfied with his first official test as a Jaguar racing driver. He was the fastest man on the circuit yesterday (Wednesday) and clocked the second quickest time on day one.
