EMMIS RADIO, IMS EXTEND BROADCAST DEAL FOR RACE COVERAGE

INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006 -- Central Indiana race fans will continue to hear all the action from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on their favorite Indianapolis radio stations, as Emmis Communications and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced Jan. 17 an extension of their exclusive radio partnership.

Through the agreement that continues through 2010, 1070 WIBC AM and sister station 97.1 HANK FM will continue to simulcast both the Indianapolis 500 and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard. The partnership also includes WIBC's coverage of the United States Grand Prix and all IRL IndyCar® Series events.

"We have had a very rewarding relationship with the Emmis Radio Group for the past five years and look forward to another long-term relationship to continue building the Indianapolis 500, Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, USGP and IndyCar® Series brands with our Emmis partners," said Buddy McAtee, IMS Productions vice president and executive producer.
