The FIA voted on Thursday to make the Hungarian Grand Prix a part of the 1995 Formula One schedule. The Hungaroring (Budapest) was formerly a "reserve" venue for a Grand Prix.

The FIA also stated that the Italian Grand Prix is still provisional and depends upon the completion of safety amendments at Monza (Milan).

If the Italian race is not dropped, Formula One will have 17 races for only the second time in history (1977).
