In the course of his trouble start to the 2016 season, the spotlight has been on changes to the Mercedes crew made over the winter, amid suggestions on social media that Nico Rosberg was getting favourable treatment from team.
"This past five races have just shown that anything's possible, and more so in a negative way for me," Hamilton said.
"I'm conscious of moving forward, there are still issues, there are still mistakes being made, so we really need to pull together as a team.
"Now we have more pressure than we've ever had on us, because the other teams are applying that pressure, and you are starting to see small buckles here and there.
"What's really important is that we pull together, because we are the greatest team. We need to refine a few areas.
"And I think today hopefully will be a boost, at least for my mechanics, who have been nervous all year."
Hamilton said his crew members were in the spotlight when working on his car.
"It's not easy coming from one side of the garage to the world champion's car. I imagine it's the same when you're given Fernando as a driver, or you're given Sebastian. That's just how it is.
"I've got the champion in the car and I need to deliver. Because of the issue's that we've had they've probably felt like we're not delivering, but they have been delivering.
"I think today must be a great relief to them, and I'm grateful to them for sticking through it, sticking with me.
"From now on hopefully today will give them the confidence to know that I'm just as strong as I've always been. And I will be for the rest of the year."
