GoPro shares slump after report links camera to Schumacher head injury

Respected F1 commentator Jean-Louis Moncet claims that a GoPro camera mount caused Schumi's head injury, which has had an adverse affect on the company in the stock market.

The claim of well-known F1 commentator Jean-Louis Moncet has GoPro sinking in the stock market today.

Moncet said in an interview with a French radio station that the hit wasn't what severely injured the F1 legend, but rather the GoPro camera mount that he had on his hemet. "The problem for Michael was not the hit, but the mounting of the GoPro (camera) that he had on his helmet, that injured his brain," to quote him exactly.

This morning, GoPro shares have fallen nearly eight percent as a result of those comments. At one point, they were as low as ten percent.

Schumacher is recovering at home now, and apparently showing slight improvement after emerging from a medically induced coma in June.
