"I want Heinz back," Jordan is quoted as saying.

Apparently the very public disagreements the two had after the 2001 British Grand Prix are now all water under the bridge, and the door is open for the veteran to return.

Frentzen has driven for Sauber in 2003, with respectable results, including a third-place finish at the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis last month. However, Sauber has decided to do a wholesale driver change, and both Frentzen and teammate Nick Heidfeld are being replaced for next year.

Along with former Sauber driver Felipe Massa's return, Giancarlo Fisichella is moving from Jordan to Sauber, leaving an opening in Eddie Jordan's stable.

The big question mark is whether Jordan can put together a financial package that will meet Frentzen's requirements.
