Frank Williams "will never retire" from F1 job

Formula 1 team boss Frank Williams will never retire, according to his daughter and deputy team principal Claire.

Williams, the founder of the team baring his name, recently turned 73 and has been working in Formula 1 for over 45 years.

His daughter says Williams will be "face down on the desk" before he quits.

"Frank is TP (team principal)," Claire Williams told the Guardian newspaper.

"Always has been, always will be, until we find him one day face down on the desk."

"Frank is in there 24/7. He's in the office more than any of us. He loves it, he's passionate about it.

"He always will be and he has no plans to retire.

"It wouldn't be the same without him."

Frank Williams stepped down from the Williams board in 2012, when he began the process of handing over the reins of the team to Claire, who was named deputy team principal a year later.
