October 27, 1996 - Michael Schumacher is set to stay with Ferrari for the next two or three years, Giovanni Agnelli said on the weekend. Schumacher, who joined Ferrari in at the end of the 1995 Formula One season, helped the Italian team take second place in the constructors' world championship this year. He also won three races and finished third in the drivers' championship. "Much of this was naturally due to Schumacher's ability," Agnelli said in an interview with state broadcaster RAI. "He will stay at Ferrari for another two or three years," he added. Schumacher's current contract is due to expire at the end of 1997.
