Jerez de la Frontera, 2nd March - Today was the day the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro had chosen to test the Bridgestone tyres for 2010, but they didn't bargain on the weather conditions. It seems as if this year the clouds follow the teams around the globe for their test sessions in 2009 and also here at Jerez there was quite some rain in the end. The single-seater's shakedown had to be move because of snow, then there was rain at Mugello, followed by sandstorms in Bahrain and now the water is back here in Andalusia: just over the last laps the regular wet tyres were suited for the track. Therefore the Ferrari F60 could "relax" at the box of the Scuderia for the whole day, waiting for better weather, which didn't come today.

Meanwhile the other seven teams present here at Jerez drove numerous laps to collect data for the cars' reliabilities and the setup for the new cars on wet tracks. These are the lap times of the day Glock (Toyota) was the fastest in a time of 1.30.979 (89 laps), followed by Kubica (BMW, 1.31.327, 70), Rosberg (Williams, 1.31.451, 114), Fisichella (Force India, 1.31.547, 54), Vettel (Red Bull, 1.32.220, 102), Kovalainen (McLaren, 1.33.371, 91) and Piquet (Renault, 1.33.476, 66).

The Scuderia's tests will proceed at the track tomorrow, again with Felipe Massa behind the wheel.
