Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello were effusive in their praise of the new Ferraro F2003-AG at the launch in Maranello today. The team intends to start this season with last year's 15-victory-winning F2002 but thinks the new car will be better.

Five-time champion Michael Schumacher is optimistic: "I think we have made a wonderful car and I hope that it will be fast," he said. "We've been doing our best for years now so it's no surprise to say that I want to win the championship. I'm in love with the car, the team and the fans."

The whole team has used the word 'beautiful' in abundance to describe the 2003 challenger and Barrichello was quick to join in: "I can't stop looking at it. It is so beautiful and gorgeous and we know that gorgeous cars are winners," he burbled. "I'm convinced that this car will bring the title to Maranello again."

Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn believes the F2003-GA is a big step forward: "Our dedication and commitment to win the championship is still there. This car is probably the biggest step in performance we've made to date."
