Ferrari F.1. Test for the first three drivers of 2010 championship to be held next 2 December at Vallelunga
The appointment with which Scuderia Ferrari and CSAI award with a special prize the top three drivers in the Italian Formula 3 Championship is renewed this year too.
Thursday 2 December at the circuit "Piero Taruffi" of Vallelunga, the Brazilian Cesar Ramos, 45th winner of the Italian Series, the driver from Monaco Stephane Richelmi and the Italian Andrea Caldarelli will be behind the wheel of the F.1. Ferrari for an entire testing day.
They will alternate at the wheel of the F2008 which has been used this year in the training sessions reserved to Ferrari Driver Academy drivers and, as in the previous occasions, technicians of Scuderia Ferrari will assist the three young drivers of the Italian Formula 3 throughout a real working day.
"The recent partnership with Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari Driver Academy is an invaluable privilege for CSAI, the 'Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica dell'Automobile Club d'Italia' - commented CSAI's President, Eng. Angelo Sticchi Damiani - and renewing this yearly appointment, that awards since 2008 the best drivers emerged from Italian Formula 3 Championship, is cause of great pride for us".
The same opinion was shared also by the CSAI's Secretary, Marco Ferrari, recently appointed member of the FIA Single-Seaters Commission: "These occasions widely satisfy the work and commitment of the whole CSAI that has always been devoted to promotion of young talents. We are now ready to nurture a very fertile breeding ground of drivers through Formula 3, Formula ACI-CSAI Abarth and with karting before these series".
