Both the Honda F1 and Red Bull F1 teams have been spotted testing in the UK at Silverstone on the 6th March, 2008. The two Formula One teams apparently were doing further development work; especially considering that Honda's main F1 team was holding a private test in Jerez, Spain.

The teams were not on the main grand prix circuit which was being used by the British Formula 3 and British GT series for their official pre-season media day and testing. Instead the two F1 teams where tucked away on the smaller track normally used by the Silverstone driving school.

The cars spent much of the time in the makeshift garages and occasionally appearing to do a couple of flying laps, then back to the pit area for analysis of the data.

The Red Bull car looked very similar to the one at the launch and the testing in Jerez but interestingly has now sprouted larger barge boards very similar to the jagged/stepped design used by the Honda, no other visual differences were evident.

The Honda also have a familiar look used in the recent testing except for a new sculptured twin rear wing replacing the flat wing on the release car.
