Jun.3 (GMM) Runaway championship leader Jenson Button took time out this week to soak up some of the sparkle of his return to British sports fame.

The Brawn driver on Tuesday night presented Australian pop star Kylie Minogue with the 'woman of the year' trophy at the Glamour magazine awards, held in London.

Button, 29, commented on the current FIA-FOTA conflict, telling BBC Newsbeat that he hopes the big teams like Ferrari stay in Formula One next year.

"Hopefully they will sort everything out and we'll be racing next year with the full grid," said the Briton.
