SAO PAULO - Member for 25 years of the select club of the F1 three time champions, the Brazilian Nelson Piquet won the title in 1981, 1983 and 1987, said Saturday at Interlagos to Globo Esporte that both the German Sebastian Vettel and the Spaniard Fernando Alonso have already earned a place among the greatest in the history of the sport. Vettel, the current champion, won in 2010 and 2011; Alonso, in 2005 and 2006.

"Which ever of you wins the title deserves to be a three time champion." - Piquet said, acknowledging that the German from RBR has more chances to take the trophy but warning that the unstable weather of São Paulo always needs to be taken into consideration:

"With rain all is unknown, anything can happen." He completed, while talking to friends in the paddock of the circuit in São Paulo.
