Minardi's test driver and BMS Scuderia Italia's driver Matteo Bobbi is getting ready for the test session at the wheel of the single seater of Faenza that will take place on Friday the 18th of April on the Imola race track

After his winning debut in the FIA GT Championship in Barcelona, Matteo will be Minardi official test driver. In 2002, Matteo had many opportunities to test with the single seater. This year, the race car driver from Milan will be busy with some private tests that he will run on the Fridays before the race. In fact Minardi is one of the few teams that has decided to use these sessions to develop their single seater predominately for the weekend races. The test will last two hours and will be at 8:30 to 10:30 on Friday morning.

Matteo Bobbi:

"I'm happy that I can get behind the wheel of a Formula One car again after last year's positive experience. I will be busy testing some tyres and brakes and I'm counting on giving useful information to the team's engineers to develop the car. Moreover, I'm without a doubt looking forward to testing on the Imola race track which I consider along with Monza as a home track."
