Bernie Ecclestone is getting fed up with Arrows' continuing absences from races and said if the team does not explain itself soon, it will probably not go to the next race at Monza. Just a few days ago the FIA requested Arrows give a written account of its circumstances and the reasons why the team has so far missed three races this year. Usually missing even one race would mean a stiff fine but so far Arrows have escaped penalty.

"Enough was enough maybe a few races ago so we'll see what happens now," Ecclestone said at the Belgian Grand Prix. "They are saying they are not here because it's force majeure, it's out of their control, and if they can prove that, maybe they've got chances to hang on. But if they can't, they probably won't go to Monza."

Despite Arrows travelling to Belgium after announcing a new American investor was involved in deals with them, the cars were packed up again on Friday night and headed home to Leafield, UK. So far no further information has been released concerning the team's situation or the new investor. It was thought former BAR boss Craig Pollock was a likely candidate but he has denied any involvement.
