The majority of F1 is currently taking a chance to enjoy a little leisure time in the three-week break before the Hungarian Grand Prix and Renault's Fernando Alonso is no exception. However, the Spaniard's thoughts are never far from the circuit and when racing recommences in Budapest at the end of August, he's determined to fight as hard as ever.

"I will be taking advantage of the gap before Budapest to take a break," Alonso told the team website. "Jarno (Trulli) and I have been pushing 100% since the start of the season, and the results have been very good -- although we are not planning on stopping just yet!"

RenaultF1 chairman Patrick Faure recently said the team had achieved its aim of four podium finishes in 2004; three by Alonso and the fourth by Trulli at the German Grand Prix. Fernando is keen to get more good results in the last four races of the season.

"We are aiming to continue our progress right up until the last race, and a couple of podiums between now and Suzuka wouldn't go amiss," he said. "When we get to Budapest, we will be completely fresh and ready to push all the way to the chequered flag."

Renault is currently fourth in the Constructors' championship, a position that is unassailable by the teams below it with the remaining points available. Alonso is sixth in the Driver's standings, just five points behind Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello, and Trulli is eighth.
