Daniil Kvyat: "Overall, with this morning, then last week in Austin and the running before that, I now have a lot of confidence in the car."
Daniel Ricciardo: "Now I’m looking forward to the race: I’m just outside the top ten, I’m on the clean side of the track and I get a free tyre choice.”
Daniil Kvyat: "...we still did 20 laps which is important mileage for me and we also managed to do some aero measurements."
Jean-Eric Vergne: "It seems that luck is just not on my side this season, as it’s not the first time I’ve been having a good race until circumstances have worked against me."
Daniel Ricciardo: "The heat? It’s only a problem once you get out of the car because inside the cockpit you get some airflow and it’s all fine.”
Daniel Ricciardo: “Our first day in Abu Dhabi was not the best, as we struggled to find the right balance on the car."
Positive results but still a lot of work to do to perform well on Sunday.
Both car did not finished due to mechanical problems.
Jean-Eric Vergne: “We had a problematic Friday, with the main difficulty having to do with the balance of the car."
Daniel Ricciardo: “The crash was my error, trying to make up for lost ground. At the start, my car just seemed to sit there without moving off the line..."
Ricciardo thinks the differential element was coping with the pressure at the time when Ricciardo and Vergne knew we were being considered for 2014.
Daniel Ricciardo: "As for the race, the guys who went out in Q2 might have a little bit of a tyre advantage."
Daniel Ricciardo: "Today, myself and Jean-Eric were just outside the top ten, but I’m confident we can move forward from there tomorrow and if we get into Q3."
Daniel Ricciardo: "The atmosphere is fantastic and, as an Italian team, I hope we can come away with some good points tomorrow.”
