Currently, Frenchman Jules Bianchi and Narain Karthikeyan appear better placed to occupy Force India race seat for 2013.

Bob Fernely: Jules is a significant candidate, along with Adrian.

Media reports now say former Force India racer Sutil, had a seat fitting for the VJM06 this week.

The Finn continues to show the readiness of the new Lotus for the 2013 season. Kimi Raikkonen won the season opener in Australia, and ended Friday practices with the fastest time on the Sepang circuit.

Jules Bianchi was signed by the Marussia team after Force India signed Adrian Sutil. It now looks like Marussia will have Ferrari engines in 2014. Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button claim that their respective team cars are off the pace.

Nicolas Todt, manager of Jules Bianchi believes the Frenchman will land the Sahara Force India seat. "I think Jules has a real chance but nothing is done."
