BMW signed Timo Glock as their eighth driver for the 2013 season as they aim to repeat their 2012 championship in the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) series. Glock tested with the manufacturer in Valencia.

Thanks to Mercedes, Robert Kubica was able to test one of their German Touring Car Masters cars with the rest of the DTM drivers and teams for the first test days of the new season.

The latest grand prix on the street circuit was held last July.

After testing a BWM at Valencia on Wednesday, Timo Glock would be delighted if he could find a DTM ride.

While Timo Glock prepares for a DTM test, the focus shifts to which F1 driver will take the German's seat at Marussia. Apparently not Vitaly Petrov.

Many expected the Spanish Grand Prix to start rotating between Circuit de Catalunya and the Valencia street circuit but it now turns out that Barcelona does not want to rotate each year.

Fernando Alonso reflected on the 2012 season while having a great time at Scuderia Ferrari's Finali Mondiali -- the annual showcase of the racing machines from the Italian manufacturer. It was a fun event for the Spaniard.
