Second season in Fia Formula 3 European championship.
Brackley, UK – Australian racing driver Spike Goddard has signed up for a second season in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with T-Sport.
Spike’s time with T-Sport began in 2012 in the British F3 International Series before he stepped up to the European championship in 2013.
Formula 3 is an important step in the career of a single-seater racer. The drivers need to have a good technical understanding to make the most of their time on track so it is important that they are able to work closely with their team.
“Spike has worked really hard over the last two years and has made good progress,” said T-Sport Team Principal Russell Eacott. “European F3 is the highest level of F3 racing so it is a massive challenge for all of the drivers and makes them work for the results. With the knowledge that Spike has gained in 2013 we look forward to fighting for points in the coming season.”
The 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship consists of 11 race weekends, taking in circuits as far afield as Moscow and Budapest but also sticking to the traditional training grounds of Pau, Silverstone, Spa, Imola and the like.
Pre-season testing gets underway in March. Spike’s team-mate for 2014 will be announced soon.
