Felix Rosenqvist secured the remaining two poles of this weekend’s European Formula 3 meeting at Hockenheim after dominating a wet second qualifying session.

The veteran Swede was the man to beat for just about the entire session, beating Maximilian Gunther’s early benchmark by a whole second with a 1m52.319s.
Alessio Lorandi briefly took the top spot with a time over four seconds quicker than Rosenqvist, but the karting graduate's time was deleted before the Prema driver began carving chunks out of his own time as conditions improved.
With a best time of 1m49.630s, Rosenqvist went almost a second clear of closest rival Charles Leclerc before the red flags were shown in response to George Russell colliding with Matt Solomon with five minutes of the session to go.
Rosenqvist subsequently failed to improve when the action resumed, but his earlier effort was good enough to take pole for race two with Leclerc falling 0.239s short at his final attempt.
Second row starters Gunther and Callum Ilott were the only other drivers to get within a second of Rosenqvist, while Antonio Giovinazzi slipped to fifth late on ahead of Lance Stroll, Jake Dennis and Alex Albon.
In the third race, the grid for which is determined by second-fastest times, the top three will line up in the same order ahead of Stroll, Giovinazzi, Mikkel Jensen and Santino Ferucci.
