Cheng Congfu wants to be the fastest of the team with great confidence

In Friday's qualifying, all the four racing cars of RC Motorsport seemed to be in trouble with setting-ups and resulted in the grid positions out of top 20, Cheng Congfu was the 26th, one position behind last race. First round of 29 laps on Saturday, several cars didn't finish the race due to accidents and collisions, Cheng was the 23rd one to pass the finish line; second round of 28 laps on Sunday, Cheng had obvious improvements, he finished the race by 13th.

From this race on, Brendon Hartley, one new driver will race with RC Motorsport. This young boy from New Zealand got 25th in the qualifying session, one position in front of Cheng Congfu; in second round, Cheng Congfu was faster than him by one position (Hartley didn't finish in first race). It seems that there is going to be a hard competition between these two drivers.

After the race, Cheng Congfu said, Hartley is a very promising young driver, he participated in A1GP New Zealand race as a rookie driver for New Zealand team, and the result was very good. His joining in would bring positive competitions in the team. However, I still have the confidence in being the fastest driver of our team, and the results of previous races improved that. In addition, we should focus on how to improve our cars' competitive power; we need work much harder when only four circuits to go.

Next race of 2008 F3 Euro Series will be held at Brands Hatch Circuit of Great Britain on August 29 to 31.
