Mucke Motorsport obligates the Swede Felix Rosenqvist as driver at the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2011 - Peter Mucke: "Talented driver with very good precondition"
Berlin (rol/ot) The Team Mucke Motorsport from Berlin obligated the Swede Felix Rosenqvist at the Formula 3 Euro Series for the 2011 season. That's what Peter Mucke as being the team principal and owner of the racing stable from the German capital city announced on Thursday (27th of January). The 19 year old Rosenqvist from Malmц has been on 5 in the ranking last year at the German ATS Formula 3 Cup, where he has been on the podium 8 times and won 2 races. Rosenqvist, born on 7th of November 1991 at the Swedish provincial town Vдrnamo and starting his career in 2000 at Kart racing, gathered his experience in Formula racing since 2007 when he was fourth at the Asian Formula Renault Challenge. In 2008 he gathered the championship title at the Formula Asia 2.0 (Asian Formula Renault) and in 2009 the title at the Formula Renault 2.0 North European Zone and the Formula Renault Sweden.
"We are excited to have such a talented young driver like Felix with very good precondition in between our rows for the oncoming season", tells Peter Mucke. "We already had an eye on him last year at the ATS Formula 3 Cup. Finally he convinced us with his performance at the Formula 3 Grand-Prix at Macau, where he has been on position nine in between the field of the best drivers worldwide", attaches the principal of the biggest private racing stable of Germany. "Now we hope that Felix can start off with a great debut at the Formula 3 Euro Series in one of our three Dallara-Mercedes. Certainly he still has to learn a lot and gather a lot of experience at the strongest offspring series worldwide, but placings in between the top ten should be the goal from the beginning", explains Peter Mucke, that announces another obligation of a driver for the next week already for his team at the Formula 3 Euro Series.
Felix Rosenqvist is looking forward to his appearance for Mucke Motorsport: "This is a truly fantastic opportunity and a big challenge. The best drivers are racing in Formula 3 Euro Series, and so that is simply where you have to be. Having seen the dedication with which Mucke Motorsport go about all their numerous racing projects I am very happy to be driving one of their cars this year. I am confident we will prove a strong combination."
