Michela will now miss the next round of the European F.3 series, scheduled for the 2nd of June at Spielberg, due to her commitments in the Blancpain Endurance Series.

"I'm moderately satisfied because we made a further step forward in Race 3… If I think to where we were on Friday, there's definitely been an improvement".

Michela Cerruti took 19th place in Race 3 of the FIA F.3 European Championship at Brands Hatch, delivering an excellent run on the Romeo Ferraris Dallara-Mercedes.

After starting off in an aggressive fashion, Michela fought her way up against her opponents until she was assessed a drive-through penalty for not respecting the yellow flags.

"It's been a pity but honestly I didn't see the yellow flags there. It was early in the race, and we were running close… twelve cars were penalized for that. Anyway, I held a strong pace and kept very close to the pack, also mastering the lappings well.

We're moving forward both in terms of the driving and with the car's development. It's encouraging".

Michela will now miss the next round of the European F.3 series, scheduled for the 2nd of June at Spielberg, due to her commitments in the Blancpain Endurance Series. She will be campaigning a manufacturer-supported BMW Z4 racer.
