The 21-year-old made his Euro F3 Open debut last year with Emilio de Villota Motorsport and instantly made an impact. In the opening weekend at Paul Ricard, Hurst took a podium finish before securing his first F3 victory at the Nurburgring, two events later. He ended the season seventh with three podiums and two poles.

Commenting on his signing, Hurst said, "I've watched DAV bring several great people together to form this new team and so when they offered me such a great deal it was a clear choice to take. I've been looking forward to getting into their car all off-season and achieving great results straight away, so need to thank my manager, Mark Blundell for securing this ride for me."

Hurst will be testing with the team next week and the 2014 Euro F3 Open season starts 2nd April at the Nurburgring, Germany.
