Edoardo Piscopo had to fight from the back in the Italian round of the 2007 F.3 Euro Series at Mugello Circuit. The Italian driver was forced to deal with a 10-place grid penalty due to the accident occurred right after the start at Magny-Cours and, in addition, German squad Mucke Motorsport appeared to not have the right feeling with the track, struggling to find a good set-up on the car driven by the Red-Bull pilot.

Edoardo elected to not use new tires in qualifying, starting from the back and climbing up to the first half of the field. On Race 2, another great recovery was completed by entering the top-10 in 9th place: Edoardo hopes to keep gaining momentum in sight of the upcoming rounds...

Edoardo Piscopo Red Bull Junior Program Driver:

"To be honest, I was expecting a bit more from my F.3 Euro Series home race, but the 10-place penalty and the problems in finding a good car balance were an huge handicap, especially at the beginning of the weekend. Fortunately, the choice of keeping two new sets of tires for the races paid off, allowing me to comeback to 9th place. That's my best result this season. We're growing stronger, I feel very motivated and ready to show our improvements at Zandvoort"
