Manor Motorsport sign Cesar Ramos for the 2009 F.3 Euro Series

Cesar Ramos will make his debut in the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2009, driving a Mercedes-powered Dallara fielded by Manor Motorsport. The Brazilian 19-year-old reached an agreement with the team after testing at Brands Hatch, on the last 11th of November. Ramos, who ended up the Italian and European F.Renault Series respectively in 6th and 7th place in 2008, started testing with Manor right after the end of the 2008 season at Snetterton, finding an immediate feeling. Manor Motorsports, founded 10 years ago by owner John Booth, has recently moved to a new shop near Sheffield. Among the previous drivers, big names include Lewis Hamilton, Kazuki Nakajima and Lucas Di Grassi.

Cesar Ramos

"I'm really excited to join John Booth's Manor Motorsport. It's an highly-competitive and professional operation, and an ideal destination in order to experience a positive debut in the Formula 3 Euro Series. I also have to thank all the other teams that got interested in me for the 2009 season, offering a chance to test for them. The two years I spent in Italy have been incredible, but it's time to change: I'll be probably relocating close to the team's headquarters."
