Cerruti ends Norisring weekend on an high note

Cerruti is now ready to switch the focus back to her BMW Z4 by entering next week's round of the Italian GT Championship at Imola.

Michela Cerruti ended her weekend with a 20th place finish in Race 3 as she completed her run in round 6 of the FIA F.3 European Championship. Driving a Mercedes-powered Dallara for Team Ferraris, the Italian female racer saw the checkered flag in all the three races in Germany after having missed the previous meeting due to her manufacturer commitments for BMW in GT competition.

Cerruti held a good overall pace in Race 3 and, thanks to the technical updates made after Saturday's Race 2, her car improved considerably. "I managed to become more consistent in terms of the lap times and the car was much more driveable compared to yesterday - said Michela - On the other hand, I'm not satisfied with the results scored at the Norisring. We still have to improve and I think we have large room for that so I'm looking forward to the rest of the championship".
