Volkswagen Team Signature wins driver and team titles
Two victories, a total of four podium places and the title wins in the driver and team classifications on top - the race weekend of the Formula 3 Euro Series at Brands Hatch was a resounding success for Volkswagen. At the UK round Edoardo Mortara (Italy), Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium) and Marco Wittmann (Germany) celebrated a one-two-three result in the first of the two races for the Volkswagen partner team Signature. In round two the Portuguese Antonio Felix da Costa from the Motopark Academy team crossed the finish line in first place for the third consecutive time at a Sunday race. In the standings Mortara (87 points) is ranking in front of Wittmann with a 24-point advantage. Two race weekends before the end of the season it is clear that the new 2010 champion will definitely be a driver from the Volkswagen Signature team.
Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup
Kris Heidorn wins at Brands Hatch and takes lead of the standings
Kris Heidorn is the big winner of the sixth race of the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup season at Brands Hatch. The German won his first race this season on the fast and demanding circuit southeast of London. The 21-year-old (208 points) thus replaced Maciek Steinhof (196 points) at the top of the standings. The Pole finished the UK round of the eco-conscious Volkswagen one-make cup in fourth place. Volkswagen Junior Jann-Hendrik Ubben (Germany) finished as the runner-up with a razor-thin advantage of one tenth of a second in front of the former Formula 1 driver Mark Blundell (Great Britain), who thus decided the Legends classification in his favour. The big highlight of the event: Damon Hill, the 1996 Formula 1 World Champion, presented the trophies at the Brands Hatch podium ceremony.
Volkwagen duo scores points in Denmark
Fredrik Ekblom and Patrik Olsson added points to their score at the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) round at the Jyllandsringen in Denmark. In race one the drivers of two Volkswagen Scirocco CNG cars finished in places nine and 13 and thus below their expectations. In the second race the duo then made up ground by taking places five and six.

Team United wins season highlight - Oranjedak DB Motorsport is champion
The winners of the longest race of the season in the Dutch Volkswagen Endurance Cup are Jaap van Lagen, Edgar van der Ende, Niels Langeveld. The trio from Team United After twelve hours at Circuit Park Zandvoort the trio from Team United relegated Team Oranjedak DB Motorsport with drivers Jeroen den Boer and Rene Steenmetz to second place. One race before the end of the season Oranjedak thus secured an early title win in the one-make endurance cup. Team Dukes Racing finished in third place.
