PIRELLI-SHOD BMS PORSCHE 997 DOMINATES GT2 AT SPA
Spa, (Belgium) July 31, 2007 - The BMS scuderia Italia Porsche 997 GT3-RSR driven by Collard, Lieb and Malucelli, on Pirelli PZero Racing tires, dominated the GT2 class at the Spa 24 Hours this past weekend, round 6 of the FIA GT Championship. The car was impressive during qualifying and displayed a clear margin of superiority throughout the race, especially during periods of rain.
Emmanuel Collard, factory Porsche driver and one of BMS' most well known stars in this year's FIA GT Championship said: "Pirelli's excellent rain tires gave us good grip during the down-pour and also during the periods of lighter rain. We were always confident of good road-handling."
