VICTORY FOR KIWI TEAM NURBURGRING - Sunday 16 May 2010

Kiwi Team Nurburgring managed to hold off some very good driving and a well performing Norwegian driven Honda Civic in the 2010 ADAC 24 Hour race at the Nurburgring in Germany to take out the top position. This year's race has proven to be one of the fastest and most challenging on history with only 123 cars out of 247 starting vehicles, including our own Audi RS4.

Honda 244 driven by Brian McGovern, Mathew Noonan, Nick Chester, Greg Spark finished the race in 1st place in class and will be taking home some very good looking trophies back to New Zealand. Honda 243 with Rod Hicks, David Glasson, Peter Milliner, Mark Corbett behind the wheel came in a very close second to round of the perfect result for such a polished performing team.

The 2 Honda's prepared by Lodge Auto Centre in Hastings, New Zealand, showed an increase in speed and hanlding this year, and reports from previous years returning drivers all commented how much of an improvement had been made with the handling of the vehicles and how well they felt. Lap times in the 2010 Nurburgring race have been in average 6% faster than laps of last year
