Nurburgring-based BMW racecar rental company, www.jacos-paddock.com have an exciting opportunity for two lucky drivers to take part in the thrilling, fifth-anniversary Dubai 24 Hour race on 14-16 January 2010.
This sensational offer - to drive in one of the most exciting endurance races on the annual global racing calendar - is a complete "arrive and drive" all-inclusive offer - covering everything: flights there and back, hotel accommodation, food, drink and, of course, all rental and racing costs associated with hiring a fully-24H-race-prepped Jaco's Paddock BMW. The cost will be somewhere in the region of 12,000 Euros (TBC on a bespoke basis) per driver.
The racing car in which the two lucky drivers will be participating is Jaco's Paddock RCN-class-winning and VLN-tried-and-tested (German race series at the Nurburgring), super reliable and durable BMW E36 325i, with 200 bhp, weighing just 1140Kg and with a serious (sorted) set-up, using all of Jaco Velders' hard-earned experience and knowhow.
The 325i will be entered in the V4 2.5-litre normally-aspirated class in the packed Dubai 24H grid (sponsored this year, and for the next three, by Dunlop tyres), which includes some 80 cars and over 200 drivers, racing over an arduous 24-hour period.
The fortunate drivers will be flown out to Dubai on 12 January, with testing on the 13th and 14th and the gruelling, exciting 24Hr race taking place over 15/16 January (returning home on the 17th), at the fabulous Dubai Autodrome & Business.
This circuit park is the first fully-integrated automotive and motor sports facility in the Middle East - incorporating a world-class, FIA-sanctioned 5.39 km motor racing track, international standard pit lane complex with a "state-of-the-art" grandstand accommodating over 7,000 spectators, as well as modern hospitality suites for corporate customers. It's an amazing place to race.
Jaco Velders said: "The 325i may not be the fastest car on the grid, but it is very quick and, more importantly for a 24Hr race, it's very, very reliable and a pleasure to drive in race trim. We at Jaco's Paddock are very excited about taking our team and two lucky drivers out to the 5th Dubai 24H, gaining experience and data, to help us with our next endurance goal, the Nurburgring 24Hr. This is a very exciting chance for two racers to take part in a major international endurance race, with us taking the strain, allowing them to relax and concentrate on enjoying the racing, at one of the world's premier race events."
