The big finale awaits the Czech team HEICO-GRAVITY CHAROUZ this weekend at the German circuit Nürburgring, on which takes place the last two races of the FIA GT3 European Championship. The driver duo Dominik Baumann and Maximilian Buhk are currently leaders in drivers’ overall standings. The Czech team holds the second position.

Dominik Baumann and Maximilian Buhk are heading to the Nürburgring in the role of leaders of the championship. They are 36 points ahead of the other drivers. During the two races, you can score maximum of 50 points, therefore losing the title for our driver duo could only happen when their form would suddenly drop down. That is unlikely to happen due their good results from the last couple of races.

In the teams’ overall standings, the Czech team HEICO-GRAVITY CHAROUZ has a bit complicated situation. The Czech team is currently second with a loss of nine points to the leader AF Corse team.

The second car is also heading to Germany with a permanent duo - Mike Vähämäki, Max Nilsson, who are an important part of the strategy for the title battle. Scandinavian duo are in the drivers’ stangdings sixth.

A weekend at the Nürburgring will start with Friday's two free practice sessions. On Saturday 22 September from 9:55 am is starting qualifying and from 14:05 race 1. The race 2 starts on Sunday, the 23rd September at 12:45.

Dominik Baumann: "For Nürburgring is typical changeable weather, which can decide this season. The track contains fast turns, but also very slow, which is very difficult to find out the proper setup. You need to find the perfect balance, and it's not easy. Our goal is to win the title, of course. "

Maximilian Buhk: "We have a clear goal to win the drivers' championship. If we can win among the teams, it is clear that we will try that as well. I will do everything I can, but it will not be easy. There is against us many good drivers. "

You can watch the races of the FIA GT3 European Championship live on TV channel SPORT 5. On Saturday 22 September starts the broadcast of the first race at 14:00. The second race is scheduled for Sunday at 12:00.
