In a race dominated by innumerable incidents, caution periods and heavy rainfall in the closing stages, the Australian customer teams of Mark Eddy, Peter Conroy and Dean Koutsoumidis finished in fifth, eighth and tenth positions.
Only 34 of the 53 cars that started saw the checkered flag.
