Official tests at Paul Ricard

The QUIFEL-ASM Team is due to carry out its first official tests on the Paul Ricard Circuit for the 2008 Le Mans Series Championship on 2nd and 3rd March (Sunday and Monday).

On these two days the Portuguese team will continue its development of Dunlop tyres for the 2008 season, having tested some evolutions of the Lola B05/40 AER.

The new aerodynamic kit, developed by Lola for the approaching season, will not yet be available on the day at Paul Ricard. This innovation will only be installed in the Portuguese team's car at the first championship event in Barcelona.

The team will take part in the night session at the French circuit, which will end at midnight on 3rd March. The test aims to prepare the team and the drivers for the conditions at the Le Mans 24-hour race.

In the driving seat of the Lola B05/40 will be the French-Portuguese duo Miguel Pais do Amaral and Olivier Pla, who will be joined by Britain's Guy Smith.
