J-C Boullion will receive the support of Emmanuel Collard

At the end of his stint in Portimao, Christophe Tinseau complained of a sharp pain in his left side. He felt pain just after a violent shock over one of the bumps of the Algarve circuit. Nevertheless, it did not prevent him from winning a brilliant victory with Jean Christophe Boullion in front of Aston Martin and Oreca. Once back home, an x'ray confirmed the diagnosis of broken rib.

Christophe Tinseau : " Since then, I take rest. Still I drove during an aerodynamic testing session in Bretigny and I used a specially modified seat. Everything seemed to go well but who knows how things will turn up on the Nurburgring circuit? "

Because the team is currently leading both classisfications in the Le Mans Series Championship, Teams and drivers, it was impossible for Pescarolo Sport to take the risk of having one of its drivers unable to complete two full stints. The regulations are very clear and stipulate that one driver cannot be at the wheel for less than 45 minutes or more than 4 hours.

Should not it be the case, neither the car nor the drivers score points. It then became necessary to find a top driver, free for the race who knew well the car and it became natural to ask Emmanuel Collard, a long-time team mate of Jean -Christophe Boullion in previous years to 'come and give a hand' to the team. He accepted with pleasure, all the more now that the Pescarolo-Judd won the race in Portimao and goes to the Nurburgring for another victory. Once again, we would like to thank Porsche to let Emmanuel Collard drive for us.

Pescarolo Sport will enter three drivers for the German race and we all hope that Christophe's fractured rib will be knitted enough to let him drive at least a 45 minute stint so that he can score as many points as his team mates.

Aston Martin, following their defeat in Portimao entered 3 cars. Once again, the team will need to perform a zero fault race in Germany so that the titles are attributed during the final round in Silverstone.

Meanwhile, in order for the car to be even more competitive at the Nurburgring, Claude Galopin brought a few aerodynamic evolutions to the Pescarolo-Judd. Pescarolo Sport will race in Germany with its legendary fighting spirit.
