Important second place for Joel at the 1000 Km race of the Nurburgring.

In a sunny and hot Sunday, where drivers have been put under a remarkable physical effort, Swiss German duo, Joel Camathias and Marc Lieb, driving # 76 Autorlando-Sport Porsche GT3 RSR, finished second in the GT2 Class.

A victory has been in their hands since a safety-car came in at 1H 30 to go, they lost a lap to the GPC Ferrari 430 of the Italian race winners, Bellicchi, Cioci and Zonca.

Second place consolidates Joel`s leadership in the general classification.

"This is a pity, but it`s racing. Of course we couldn`t imagine that the safety-car came in. Our car was very strong and fast in the race, so we are satisfied to how we work during the German weekend."

We will see Joel back in action with his Porsche on August, 27th, at the 1000 Km of Donnington.
