Irish LMP2 team Murphy Prototypes has re-signed French racer Nathanael Berthon to compete in the ELMS and the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2015.
Berthon, who has also raced in GP2 for the last three seasons, will again dovetail a similar campaign this year as he has also inked a deal with the Lazarus GP2 team.
It was a promising start to his endurance racing career in 2014 when he made his debut with Murphy's ORECA 03 at Imola, the second round of the ELMS.
A pole position and third place at Paul Ricard last September marked the 25-year-old out as one of the up and coming LMP2 talents in Europe. He also made his LMP1 debut last year when he raced the Lotus-AER combination at the Bahrain FIA WEC round.
Murphy is currently testing at Paul Ricard, with Berthon being joined by Karun Chandhok, who also raced for the team last season in the ELMS and at Le Mans. Two additional drivers are believed to be sampling the Murphy ORECA-Nissan this week.
Motorsport.com will have news from the test later in the week.
