Joel Camathias and JWA had a positive Monza weekend in spite of the gearbox broke at the second hour of the race.

Swiss driver, Joel Camathias (26) and Briton team, James Watt Automotive can consider themselves happy about the first 2007 Le Mans Series round of Monza. They qualified 9th on the GT2 class on Saturday qualifying session and today, they had a really good first race stint, before the gearbox broke during the second stint, when Joel`s team-mate, Paul Daniels, was driving.

"I can say that this weekend it was for us a real shake down of the 997 [Porsche 997 GT3 RSR]. We started to have some set-up information only yesterday afternoon after the qualifying session, where we qualified 9th. Not bad considering this sort of first approach with the car, both for me and the Team!

I would like to thank Mr. Watt [James Watt Automotive Team Owner] again as well as the whole team, my team-mates and Dunlop for the effort they put to start developing a brand new car in so little time! ".

We will see Joel back in action on April, 21th and 22th, at the first weekend of the International GT Open at Vallelunga (Italy).
