Heading to Jarama with real ambitions

The 1000km of Jarama is the last race of the 2006 LMS season. After a good showing at Donington (pole position and 5th) and being the fastest car at the Nurburgring, Courage goes to Spain with real ambitions. A 2 days test was held last week with H.Kurosawa, A. Frei and J. Cochet on the Bugatti track for a last check on both LC70's on which small improvements have been installed.

The n12 car will be driven by J.M. Gounon, G. Fisken and A. Frei.

The n13 car will again be driven by S. Nakano and H. Kurosawa.

The LC70 of Swiss Spirit will also be there in the hands of H. Primat and M. Fassler and will try to obtain the 2nd place in the Championship.

Last race in the LMS for the Courage C65

This race will also be the last one for the Courage C65 LMP2 in the LMS in Europe. The C65, Courage's most successful prototype to date, doesn't comply with the regulations for 2007 which doesn't allow hybrids. And the C65 is still in contention for the LMP2 Championship with the C65 driven by Barazi-Vergers- Valsecchi. Paul Belmondo Racing will again have a go with their C65 AER and Kruse will try to finish on a high with a very talented new driver on board former European F3000 Champion, Norbert Siegler.
