Graff Racing to campaign new Ligier LMP3

Graff Racing will run the new LMP3 in the ELMS season finale.

The first of the Ligier LMP3 designs is set to be used by Graff Racing in the ELMS finale at Estoril in October. Other LMP3 cars, which debuted at Silverstone, can be seen in the filmstrip to the left.

Onroak Automotive, which design and build the Ligier LMP cars, is currently finalizing the design of the new Ligier JS P3 and are expected to complete the car by the end of September.

Onroak is courting several teams in Europe and Asia to expand its order book of the LMP3 cars. The JS P3 takes several design cues from the successful JS P2 LMP2 racer which has won the first WEC race of the season at Silverstone, last month.

The Graff Racing team is currently running a Ligier JS 53 EVO 2s in the CN category of the VdeV Endurance Series - Endurance Proto Challenge in Europe.

Originally founded by Jean-Philippe Grand in 1984, the team raced single-seaters mainly, taking the 1991 French F3 title with Jean-Christophe Boullion.

Now under the management of GT and VdeV driver, Eric Trouillet, the team has ambitions to become a major force in the endurance racing world.
