Nelson Panciatici and Pierre Ragues were crowned 2013 ELMS Champions despite finishing 4th overall. Gary Hirsch and Paul Loup Chatin earned the LMPC title while Matt Griffin and Johnny Mowlem grabbed the LMGTE championship.

Heavy rain conditions initially brought out a safety car and then caused the race to be curtailed at 75 per cent distance.

In LMGTE, the pole was taken by Ram Racing's Ferrari team while the GTC honors went to the MOMO Audi No. 65
Final testing before the start of the ELMS
The European Le Mans Series teams were able t complete two days of testing to prepare for the season opener.
Thirty cars and ten different nationalities to start the first ELMS round.
The event was a fiercely contested competition, with up to seven cars in contention for the overall win.
