The current season, in which Susie is one of only two female drivers in a traditionally male dominated area, is her fifth at the German Touring Car Championship. At the latest race at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz circuit on June 6th, Susie achieved the best result of her DTM career and gained important points.

The German Touring Car Championship (DTM) is a race series for production based cars converted into racing cars. The drivers compete over several months in ten races in four European countries and one Asian. The official start of the DTM took place at the Hockenheimring in Baden-Wurttemberg on April 25th and this year's season will finish with the race in Shanghai in November.
