One-two lead for Audi in the DTM

DTM: By scoring an impressive 1-2-3-4 victory at the Nürburgring, Audi re-captured the overall lead in the DTM. With Timo Scheider and Mattias Ekström, as many as two Audi drivers are now even at the top of the standings. The dominant driver in the Eifel, however, was Martin Tomczyk, who celebrated a commanding victory after having started from the pole position. Scheider and Ekström clinched places two and three. Markus Winkelhock finishing fourth in the best year-old car completed the Audi triumph.

First victory for Rasmus Marthen

JTCC: Resounding success for the Junior Team of Audi "factory" driver Mattias Ekström: At Karlskoga, the merely 16-year-old Swede Rasmus Marthen managed to clinch his first victory in the Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship (JTCC). In the first race on Friday Marthen finished third, in the second race on Saturday the youngster was running all the way in front in his Audi A3.
