Ingolstadt/Klettwitz -- At the EuroSpeedway the Audi drivers not only performed as racers but also made accomplished showings as chefs, waiters, motorsport advisers and pit lane guides.

At the EuroSpeedway the Audi drivers had some special treats in store for invited journalists on Friday night. Five racers swapped their overalls and helmets for aprons and chef's hats to cook up some typical regional specialities while their respective team-mates were responsible for serving drinks. The line-up of chefs included Mattias Ekstrom (asparagus salad with herb vinaigrette), Tom Kristensen (smorebrod with poached egg and grilled Danish bacon), Mike Rockenfeller (fried pike-perch on creamed sauerkraut with fried potatoes), Alexandre Premat (entrecôte on Bordeaux juice with green beans with bacon and truffle puree) and Katherine Legge (British raspberry trifle with Crème Chiboust on crumbled vanilla short crust pastry).

Yet again, motorsport enthusiasm motivated high-ranking members of AUDI AG to personally attend a DTM race: Rupert Stadler, chairman of the board, and his colleagues Michael Dick, responsible for technical development, and Peter Schwarzenbauer, member of the board for sales and marketing, came to the EuroSpeedway to witness the Audi A4 DTM in action. Toni Melfi, head of corporate communications, would not miss the high-powered event at the foot of Europe's biggest motorsport grandstand either.

Berlin singer Francisca Urio (Germany's "Pop Idol") and boxer Alexander Abraham experienced the fastest taxi ride of their life. Christian Abt, who used to race in the DTM for many years, and the former Formula 1 racer Nicolas Kiesa chauffeured the popular passengers around the EuroSpeedway at lightning speed.

The DTM as a dream setting: at the Audi drive away at the EuroSpeedway, the German sales organisation handed over numerous Audi S3, S6 and S8 vehicles to distribution partners.

Berlin TV stars Raul Richter (RTL, "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten") and Katie Pfleghar (PRO7, "Unschuldig") obtained first-hand racing information from DTM leader Timo Scheider and will soon put their newly acquired horsepower knowledge to practical use. The young actors plan to participate in a celebrity kart race organised by Audi factory driver Timo Scheider and his fiancee Jasmin Rubatto.

Former FC Bayern pro Jens Jeremies paid a brief visit to Martin Tomczyk at his garage -- with son Noah in tow, who immediately "boarded" the Audi A4 DTM. The band Revolverheld visited Timo Scheider and Tom Kristensen in the pits.

A special "fan club" came to the fourth DTM round of the season to support Timo Scheider and Markus Winkelhock: 64 Audi Gebrauchtwagen:plus salesmen kept their fingers crossed for the drivers: after all, the two matt-black A4 DTM cars promote Audi's extensive 110-item check.

Torsten Brauer from Schnaittach near Nuremberg went to the DTM race at the Norisring, shot a picture of his son in the racing taxi, entered it in the "Picture of the year" competition at and won. Brauer's prize: an exclusive DTM weekend at the EuroSpeedway including a pit lane tour and surprise meeting with the defending champion Mattias Ekstrom. Of course son Leon, the subject of the prize-winning photograph, accompanied his father.
